Local companies and organizations were in attendance to provide information about ways to conserve energy and save money. These vendors brought displays of their products/services, including: landscaping, a hybrid car, home heating/cooling sources, windows/siding, solar products, and a variety of home improvement products. The local cooperative extension was also available with energy saving tips.

This year's event featured on-site confidential document shredding by Confidata, Inc. During the two-hour event over 1,600 pounds of shredding was collected!

All participants received a reusable shopping bag and terra cotta mug with seeds from Visions for attending the event and were entered to win great door prizes!

In addition to hosting a "green" event, Visions is pleased to offer our members special loans for energy efficient home improvements, hybrid vehicles, energy saving appliances, and an "e" checking account.
