Visions Federal Credit Union is proud to announce that seven of our members were awarded college scholarships in the 2009 Credit Union Association of New York scholarship program. Students were eligible to win scholarships on three different credit union levels: state (CUANY), chapter (Southern Tier), and local (Visions FCU).

Winning $500 scholarships at the state level were: Jennifer Retter of Austin, TX; Timothy Lewis and Lindsey Stout of Vestal, NY; and Nathan Close of Sayre, PA. Jessica Carl and Joshua Holowinski of Johnson City, NY each won a $500 scholarship awarded by Southern Tier Credit Unions. Lisa Kashinsky of Vestal, NY was the winner of a $500 scholarship from Visions Federal Credit Union.

These high school seniors were chosen for their outstanding performance in academics, extracurricular achievements, and dedication to their community.
