So far, we've funded over $12 million to more than 2,600 partners that impact our communities across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Our credit union is expanding opportunities and fostering economic growth in our hometown and beyond, with a footprint that extends across the northeast states of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
At Visions, we work in partnership sharing resources to advance our neighborhoods through our Visions Cares program. We support 501(c)(3) and other charitable organizations who make it possible to provide valuable community services that would be impossible to achieve without stretching our dollars together. Visions Cares funds are returned to community organizations aligned with our shared initiatives to serve and care for the needs of our members.

While we believe all causes are good causes, we have a strategic focus in 2024 to fund the following areas:

The following programs are ineligible for funding through the Visions Cares Program:
- Individuals
- Political organizations or causes
- Churches or religious organizations, unless services directly benefit the general public (regardless of the religious affiliation or practice of those served)
- Organizations located outside and impacting those outside our 3 state field of membership (NJ, NY, PA)
Ways We Give
Sponsorships
Sponsorships can range from big community events to a program advertisement. We are proud to support and share our name as part of your organization's mission and hope to help your change. We sponsor events covering many causes across all our regions.
Grants
Grants are donations tied to a specific project that have a measurable impact on the organization or community. Organizations request grants to cover specific programming, pieces of equipment that enhance their provided services, and more.
In-Kind
It's not always money that's needed to make a community event memorable. Visions can also help provide the finishing touches with donated items such as pens, tissues, gift cards, and more.
Volunteers
Visions Community Impact program encourages its nearly 1,000 employees to pursue their interests through volunteering and even offers paid time off to volunteer and get involved.
Other Support
The Visions Cares program is constantly evolving. If what you’re looking for does not fit into the “Ways We Give” but still provides substantial community impact, we want to hear about it!
How Does It Work?
Apply
Our application process takes approximately 6-8 weeks from application to funding received. Partnerships are a pillar of our foundation. Present your need by applying online.
Evaluate
The Visions Cares team receive and review all submitted applications. We prioritize projects that best reflect our organizational values. Often partnerships are renewed annually.
Execute
We value a written reply. You will hear from somebody on the Visions Cares team regardless of the final decision. Non-monetary support efforts are coordinated through mutual communication with the Visions Cares team.
Follow Up
Visions strives to make impactful and lasting change with our partners. We encourage an open line of communication and growth for those involved.
