Positive change begins with little steps

There are heroes everywhere and they come in all sizes. We've been inspired by stories of those 12 and under helping those in their communities, and we want to spotlight them and their efforts.

Introducing: Little HeroesBoy Super Hero

We're gathering stories of kids 12 and under making a positive impact in their communities. Friends, family, parents, guardians, and even community members can nominate a child – Visions member or not – and we’ll pick a monthly winner and help them with their cause.

Whether it’s a monetary donation, a gift card or items to help with their cause, or even a custom-designed logo for their project – we’ll do our best to help shine a light on what they do and help them make an impact.*

Do you know a Little Hero?

Whether they shovel snow, mow lawns, or raise money for charitable causes, we want to honor them and help them with their work.

Congratulations to Our Newest Little Hero, Maeve!

Congratulations to Maeve for being selected as our most recent Little Hero!

In 2020, Maeve finished treatment for leukemia. She was diagnosed when she was 6 years old and, after three years of fighting the illness, Maeve now enjoys her good health with a grateful attitude and generous spirit. She quickly became a Girl Scout to save money and give back, and with the help of her friends and family, she donated 60 boxes of cookies to the doctors, nurses, and staff at her clinic.

Here, our Little Hero is showing off one of her gifts from Visions – a uniquely inspired t-shirt with original artwork by our graphic design team and Maeve’s favorite quote, “The lion and tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf does not perform in the circus.” Supporting her efforts and bravery, Kirby Kangaroo also surprised Maeve with an arctic wolf stuffed animal and a gift card to Barnes & Noble.

Check out our other Little Heroes!

Did you know that Visions has a Youth Program? From birth to teens and beyond, we're here to help your child grow financially fit.

Kids 12 and under can join the Kirby Kangaroo Club, a program that comes with a youth savings account, special gifts for deposits over $5, and access to the Kirby Kangaroo site, packed with stories, games, coloring pages, and jokes. We even mail them a quarterly newsletter, birthday cards, and host special youth activities all year long!

Best of all, a Kirby Kangaroo account is a fully fledged Visions account. As your child grows up, they'll have access to everything Visions has to offer – checking accounts, debit cards, and a whole lot more.
