Reading, PA – At the 35th Annual Freedom Fund Gala, the Reading Branch NAACP recognized Visions Federal Credit Union with a 2022 Corporate Impact Award.

The event was held on Sunday, October 30th, at Abraham Lincoln Hotel in Reading, PA and featured entertainment, networking opportunities, and the Impact Awards ceremony, which honors the selfless and giving acts of those making and having an impact on others in the community. At the gala, Visions was presented with the Corporate Impact Award, acknowledging their support of the Reading community through generous giveback, civic engagement, and financial education programs.

Gustavo Cepeda, Visions' Community Development Liaison, spoke at the event. "We all have the power to impact others and move the community forward," Cepeda said. "We're proud to be here in the Reading community as a resource for positive change."

Other recognitions at the event included Community Impact recipient George Washington Carver Post 962 and Image Award recipients Ann Marie Beriguete Valle, Stephan Fains, Ryan Hightower, and William Johnson.

  • Visions Holds 58th Annual Meeting

    At our 58th Annual Meeting, held on March 16, 2024 at Visions Headquarters in Endwell, NY, three directors were elected to our Board of Directors. Michael A. Mullen, Mary C. Robinson, and Denise B. Stoughton were reelected to three-year terms on the Board of Directors. At the meeting, Chairperson Christopher H. Marion also recognized James J. Lewis for five years of volunteer service.

  • Visions’ Project Education Supports the New Jersey Education Association

    Visions Federal Credit Union has made a third installment toward Project Education, a million-dollar pledge to the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA). The $100,000 donation will support the NJEA’s Office of Human and Civil Rights, Equity and Governance and fund the Visions Grant for Social Justice through the Hipp Foundation.
