Syracuse University Athletics, the Martin J. Whitman School of Management and Visions Federal Credit Union announced they will team up to launch the Student-Athlete Financial Empowerment Program, an initiative designed to prepare Orange student-athletes for long-term financial success during and beyond their college careers. As CMO, DeHate is responsible for strategic direction/vision and oversight on all marketing and communications plans in support of credit union strategic objectives. She utilizes data-driven short- and long-term strategies to produce value for Visions’ membership and result in the long-term success of the credit union. DeHate is a team-oriented marketing executive with 23 years of experience at Visions. She joined the Marketing and Business Development department within her first year at the credit union and has since worked as an analyst, assistant, manager, and, most recently, as AVP of Marketing for the last decade...

Quinn comes to Visions with 30 years of experience in human resources (HR), plus experience in change management, workplace culture transformation, and executive leadership coaching with corporate clients and global, multicultural SaaS (software as a service) enterprises for more than a decade.

Visions developed the Visions Business Academy to deepen relationships with high schools within their three-state footprint and increase their community impact. Through the program, Visions provides each school district with a dedicated Financial Wellness Officer, who partners with school administrators, faculty members, and student interns to support financial literacy, professional development, and other goals within the school community.

Visions proudly announces that Tyrone Muse, President/CEO, has been awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Binghamton University. Muse was honored as Doctor of Humane Letters (LHD) during the university’s School of Management commencement ceremony in Vestal, NY.

Earlier this year, Giant notified Visions that they would be relocating their Allentown facility, which provided Visions with the option to relocate as well. “We’ve been interested in finding a permanent, standalone location in Allentown for years,” said Derek Garcia, Visions’ AVP/Regional Member Service Officer of their Pennsylvania regional market. “When given the choice to either settle into another in-store branch or invest in our own property, we knew this was a perfect opportunity to plant stronger roots in this community.” The new, full-service branch will be at 27 N. 7th Street, Suite 110, in Allentown, PA.

Three directors were elected to Visions Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors at its 59th Annual Meeting, held at Visions Headquarters in Endwell, NY. Kenneth H. Kidder III, Christopher H. Marion, and Kelly A. Roche were re-elected to three-year terms on the Board, which also includes Jill M. Bennedum, James J. Lewis, Michael A. Mullen, Mary C. Robinson, Laurie Schorno, and Denise B. Stoughton. During the meeting, Chairperson Marion recognized Robinson, Roche, and Stoughton for 10 years of volunteer service and Supervisory Committee member Mark Wasser for 20 years of volunteer service.

The 2025 MemberXP 'Best of the Best' Awards are based on insights from more than 2.6 million data points, reflecting the experiences of around 8.6 million credit union members. The partnership between the credit union and the professional runner will help to promote financial wellness initiatives and charitable causes in communities served by Visions. Visions is proud to announce the hire of Patrick M. Killeen as VP/Chief Risk Officer. With over 32 years of experience in risk management, internal auditing, operations, and data analytics for financial institutions, Killeen is a seasoned risk executive eager to support the credit union. As Chief Risk Officer, Killeen is responsible for providing enterprise-wide strategic and tactical leadership in implementing, maturing, and overseeing Visions’ Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs, including the identification, assessment, and management of enterprise risk, information security, and regulatory compliance.
