Endwell, NY – Visions Federal Credit Union is proud to announce their sponsorship of para alpine skier Logan Knowles. The sponsorship will offset the athlete’s costs of equipment and training for Team USA as he aims to qualify for the next Winter Paralympic Games, Milano Cortina 2026.

Knowles, who developed cerebral palsy at birth, is a professional para-athlete from Horseheads, NY. After defying the expectations from doctors that he would never walk, Knowles began skiing when he was six years old and won his first gold medal in NASTAR, the National Standard Race, at the age of 15. In 2018, his first invitation to serve on Team USA was interrupted by a leg injury that required surgery and physical therapy. Since his recovery, Knowles has continued to train and compete while inspiring athletes and individuals with disabilities internationally.

“We are incredibly proud to partner with Logan, a true embodiment of determination and resilience,” said Micah Mellander, Visions’ Branding Manager. “At Visions, we believe in supporting those who inspire others to reach their highest potential, and Logan’s journey as a Paralympic hopeful aligns perfectly with our values. We are excited to see him achieve his goals at the 2026 Winter Paralympics in Italy.”

In 2024, Knowles launched his organization, Logan Speaks, LLC., to make an impact through motivational speaking and raising awareness about people with disabilities. As part of the partnership, you will be hearing more of Logan’s journey through social media, he will be sporting the Visions corporate logo and will be a spokesperson for Visions at various events over the coming years.

Knowles said, “Our partnership means so much to me because everything I’m doing is to help others, whether it’s to educate about the Paralympic movement or disabilities as a whole, and I feel like Visions has the same goal by supporting the community in various ways!”
