Will I be charged any extra fees while using my credit card outside of the United States?

Yes. Visa International charges a fee of 1%* on all purchases, cash advances, and ATM transactions that are completed outside of the U.S., or online or by phone with a merchant that is located or headquartered outside of the U.S.

The fees are posted separately from the transaction and post on the same business day that the transaction posts.
